Developed exclusively for Pièce de Résistance, DN_S2601 by design collective SUPER95 is a study in industrial minimalism, structural balance, and regional craftsmanship. The collectible armchair pairs a precision-cut brushed aluminum frame—assembled with visible mechanical joinery—against a suspended, ergonomic saddle leather sling.

Designed with clean architectural lines, the piece features integrated leather arm wraps and a cylindrical head bolster that balances technical rigour with tactile comfort. Driven by a philosophy of logical construction paired with expressive form, the contrast between raw metallic hardware and rich cognac leather delivers a commanding silhouette suited for contemporary art collections and interior spaces.

Designer

SUPER95 is an Austrian design and architecture collective founded by Martin Bauer, Michael Fischereder, and Paul Pargfrieder. Operating out of studios in Upper Austria and Vienna, the collective focuses on handmade furniture produced locally in small, limited quantities. Rejecting purely decorative ornament, SUPER95 conceptualizes works along a logical framework, emphasizing structural transparency, mechanical hardware, and raw material balance across industrial metals and fine upholstery.

Return Policy

All sales are final. Due to the unique nature of gallery acquisitions, limited editions, and bespoke productions, we do not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations once an order or deposit is confirmed. Transit & Condition Claims: Every piece is inspected and documented prior to release. Transports are conducted via specialized logistics. The recipient must inspect the shipment upon delivery in the presence of the carrier. Any claim regarding transit damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and submitted to info@piecederesistance.com within 24 hours with high-resolution photographs of the damage and packaging. Failure to report within this window constitutes full acceptance of the piece in its delivered state.

Material Variations & Handcrafted Character

Each work presented by Pièce de Résistance is individually hand-crafted or produced in limited studio editions using raw, natural, or hand-worked materials—including wood, metal, resin, and ceramic. Due to the artisanal methodology and organic nature of these materials, subtle variations in texture, grain, tone, patination, and minor dimensional nuances are inherent to the process. Imagery and gallery display pieces (including Artist Proofs) serve as accurate references, but final pieces may display unique, natural distinctions. These variations are essential to the artistic integrity of collectible design and do not constitute defects.

Limitation of Liability

Neither Pièce de Résistance nor its represented designers and artists shall be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the handling, installation, use, or placement of any object. The gallery and its designers assume no liability for damage, wear, or alteration occurring after final delivery and client acceptance, including damage resulting from improper installation, environmental exposure, or normal wear and tear.
