Standing as a study in translucent materiality and frozen movement, this side table by Marten Herma Anderson occupies a curious threshold between liquid nostalgia and physical structure. The piece pairs a thick, semi-opaque cylindrical core with heavy, vertical ribbons of poured resin—in rich, saturated shades of amber, plum, ochre, and deep olive—that trace down its sides like suspended, melting confections.

There is an intentional, tactile sweetness to the form, drawing direct inspiration from the visual memory of softened gummy candies and light-catching confection wrappers. Captured beneath a high-gloss, hand-poured surface, the resin retains an organic irregularity where uneven contours, suspended air, and pooling pigments shift in depth throughout the day. Marten Herma Anderson is a Berlin-based designer and sculptor whose practice bridges architecture, hand-cast ceramics, and translucent resins. Return Policy

All sales are final. Due to the unique nature of gallery acquisitions, limited editions, and bespoke productions, we do not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations once an order or deposit is confirmed. Transit & Condition Claims: Every piece is inspected and documented prior to release. Transports are conducted via specialized white-glove art logistics. The recipient must inspect the shipment upon delivery in the presence of the carrier. Any claim regarding transit damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and submitted to info@piecederesistance.com within 24 hours with high-resolution photographs of the damage and packaging. Failure to report within this window constitutes full acceptance of the piece in its delivered state.

Neither Pièce de Résistance nor its represented designers and artists shall be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the handling, installation, use, or placement of any object.
