Hannah Kuhlmann
WALL SCONCE
Made to order in a limited edition of AP+20 with an 6-week lead time
Conceived as a tailored petal of mirror-polished stainless steel, this wall sconce by Hannah Kuhlmann folds gracefully away from the wall, enveloping light within a soft, flared silhouette. Formed with precise, visible seams along its structural pleats, the sconce acts as an intimate architectural vessel—holding the light inward before spilling a warm, radiant ambient glow against the wall above and below.
Suspended from the base of the fixture is a delicate pull anchored by an amber droplet, bringing an element of tactile ritual to the object's operation. When illuminated, the liquid-like mirror surfaces scatter a shimmering halo across the surrounding interior, while unlit, the piece rests against the wall with the quiet, reflective elegance of a sculpted adornment.
Commissioned in a limited edition of AP+20 for Correspondances, the inaugural exhibition at Pièce de Résistance.
